RTL Group and Surgutneftegaz OJSC: Deals Closed to Purchase REN
Luxembourg - Moscow, October 7, 2005 – RTL Group and Surgutneftegaz OJSC announced today that they have closed their deals to purchase REN TV Media Holding LLC shares, subject to registration.
In this connection, a new Board of Directors of the Media Holding will be elected shortly.In their turn, representatives of Surgutneftegaz OJSC and Severstal Group press services noted that now, as both deals have been finally closed, the time has come for the three shareholders to pool together their efforts to further develop the TV channel.
