RTL Group launches Pan-European Webvertising Network IP-Web.net
Luxembourg, 16 October 2000. RTL Group is stepping up its New Media activities and has launched IP-Web.net, a pan-European network for advertising on the Internet. With nine offices in six countries, IP-Web.net is offering advertisers the unique possibility of running international Web campaigns on branded quality sites all over Europe and combine them with their classical media approaches. IP-Web.net gives access to 75 top European websites, including the online presences of RTL Group’s TV and radio properties such as RTL.de in Germany, RTL.fr in France or Channel5.co.uk in the UK but also branded sites of network partners like SNCF.com and Universalmusic.fr in France, the game site Bananalotto in France and the UK, Gamechannel.de in Germany or Rendez-vous.be in Belgium.

The sales houses of the network today have branded sites with more than 150 million monthly page impressions and more than 200 million ad impressions. IP-Web.net is based on the innovative and leading ”DART” technology of the US-High-tech-company DoubleClick Technology Solutions. “DART” allows IP-Web.net to place targeted advertisements in form of banners, buttons or rich media formats on the network’s portfolio of sites.
