CLT-UFA appoints Axel Duroux to its board of directors

Luxembourg, 26 April 2006 – On 19 April 2006, the General Meeting of CLT-UFA, subsidiary of RTL Group and parent company of RTL in France, appointed Axel Duroux, currently Chairman of the Management Board of  RTL in France, as director on the Board of CLT-UFA in Luxembourg. He will take on this responsibility in addition to his current functions.

About Axel Duroux
Axel Duroux, 42, joined the CLT-UFA group in 1994 as Managing Director of M 40, charged with the mission to create the radio station RTL2. In 1995, he was appointed Chairman of Fun Radio and RTL2.
In 2000, he became Chairman and CEO of Endemol Development and Vice- Chairman of Endemol France, both subsidiaries of the leading audiovisual production company in Europe.
In November 2004, Axel Duroux joined RTL Group as Advisor to the General Management of RTL Group in Luxembourg.
On 18 April 2005, Axel Duroux is entrusted with the responsibility for RTL Group’s French radio activities, RTL, RTL2, Fun Radio and the advertising sales house IP France and is appointed Chairman of the Board.
