Luxembourg, 18 July 2005 - RTL Group, the leading European broadcasting and production company, today announces the departure of Jean-Charles De Keyser, Executive Vice President Benelux, Eastern Europe and Radio, as from 1 September 2005.

Jean-Charles De Keyser has held various positions within RTL Group, which he joined as a journalist in 1970, including CEO of RTL TVI, Club RTL and Bel RTL, CEO and Chairman of the Board of RTL KLUB in Hungary, Chairman of the Board of RTL Nederlands and RTL Televizija in Croatia and member of the Board of RTL France and M6. In 1989 Jean-Charles De Keyser launched “Televie” in Belgium and then in 2001 in Luxembourg.  “Télévie” has today become a phenomenal success raising significant amounts of money each year (a cumulative amount of almost EUR 70 million has been raised) for cancer research, in particular for children suffering from leukaemia.  All of the money raised by “Televie” is donated to the Fonds National de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS) in Belgium.

Jean-Charles De Keyser will continue to actively participate in “Televie” in the future.

Gerhard Zeiler, CEO of RTL Group, comments: “Jean-Charles has been a key figure within RTL Group for more than 30 years. I would like to thank him for his enormous contribution in building RTL Group’s strong position in Benelux and successfully starting the Group’s expansion into Eastern Europe. With his experience, expertise and commitment he has been integral to the development of RTL Group from a local broadcaster to Europe’s leading TV, radio and production company.  I wish him well for the future.”
