RTL Group announces new management structure effective 1 January 2006
Luxembourg, 20 December 2005 – RTL Group today announces a new Executive Management structure at Group level.
Gerhard Zeiler, Chief Executive Officer is joined by Ignace Van Meenen, Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Centre and Elmar Heggen Executive Vice President Regional Operations and Development.
Gerhard Zeiler, CEO of RTL Group, said, "This new structure reflects the need to make changes following the departure of Thomas Rabe, our former CFO, to Bertelsmann and the continued growth in our business. Our television operations now span 11 countries in Europe and this new structure ensures that the Executive management of the Group can carry on closely working with our local management teams whilst ensuring continuity at the Corporate Centre.”
