Philippe Delusinne appointed new CEO of TVI (RTL TVI) in Belgium
Brussels/ Luxembourg, 15 March 2002. – The Board of TVI, chaired by
Jean-Pierre de Launoit, has appointed Philippe Delusinne as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TVI. Philippe Delusinne, former CEO of the Belgian branch of the advertising group Young & Rubicam, will be responsible for all activities of RTL TVI in Belgium.
In his new function, Philippe Delusinne has immediately appointed his team: Freddy Tacheny will be General Manager of TVI and CEO of IP Belgium, and will be working alongside Michel Joiris, Director TV, and Francis Goffin, Director Radio, Communication and Diversification.
RTL Group’s activities in Belgium include the TV-channels RTL TVI and Club RTL as well as the radio station Bel RTL and the sales house IP.

TVI s.a. is 66 % owned by RTL Group and 34 % by the Belgian publishing group Audiopresse. TVI operates the French-speaking Belgian TV channels RTL TVI and Club RTL which together in 2001 have reached an average audience share in the main target group of 30.6 % (RTL TVI: 24 %; Club RTL: 6.6 %). Furthermore, in 2001, they reached an advertising market share of 68 %, an increase of 1 percentage point in a declining market. Revenues for RTL TVI and Club RTL were
102 million Euros in 2001.
