Thomas Rabe nominated as the new CFO of Bertelsmann AG
Luxembourg, 21 January 2005 - RTL Group today announces that Thomas Rabe, CFO of RTL Group, has been appointed the successor to Siegfried Luther as CFO of Bertelsmann AG.
Thomas Rabe was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of RTL Group in August 2000 and in 2003 was also appointed as Head of Corporate Centre and Luxembourg television, radio and technical services. He will continue in his current position until a successor has been found. Thomas Rabe will take over as CFO of Bertelsmann AG as from 1 January 2006 upon the retirement of Siegfried Luther at the end of 2005.
