Rémy Sautter named Chairman of the Board of Channel 5

Rémy Sautter, President and CEO of CLT-UFA has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors of Channel 5 in the UK.
He replaces Greg Dyke, appointed Director-General of the BBC.
Channel 5 is the UK youngest commercial television channel, founded in 1997. Its two main shareholders are CLT-UFA and United News and Media plc., each with 29% equity stake. Pearson plc and Warburg and Co hold interests of 24% and 18%, respectively.
The number of Channel 5 viewers is rising steadily and now represent 5,1% of the total television market in the UK.
CLT-UFA is the largest European radio and television group, with holdings in some forty radio and television channels, most of them leaders in their respective markets - RTL in France, RTL Television in Germany, RTL TVI in Belgium, HMG in the Netherlands and UFA Sports in Europe. The group is also active in production and rights distribution.
