Ingrid M. Haas has been appointed to the position of Vice-President Media Policy & Media Development for German-language territories
Ingrid M. Haas (33) will become Vice President Media Policy & Media Development for German-language territories at CLT-UFA as from January 1st, 1999. In her new position she is to contribute to strengthen the relations between the company and political decision-makers and institutions at a national and international level and elaborate strategies in the field of media-policy. Moreover she will represent CLT-UFAís interests in various bodies and associations. Her responsibilities also include co-operation in designing strategic projects in German television. She will report to Rolf Schmidt-Holtz, Chief Executive Officer of CLT-UFA, and to Dr. Ewald Walgenbach, Executive Vice-President TV, Production & Rights, Deputy to the CEO.
After her studies of Humanities and Social Sciences in Heidelberg, Paris and Tübingen, Ingrid M. Haas was employed by the State Ministry of Culture, Education and Church in Dresden, Saxony, from 1993 to 1995.
In September 1995, she joined the Corporate Communications and Public Affairs division of Bertelsmann AG and took over the management of the Public Affairs section on May 1st, 1996. One year later, she was also entrusted with the position of Deputy Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.
