Dominik Belloin: appointed Chief Financial Officer of CLT-UFA

CLT-UFA, the leading European Radio and Television Group, announced today the nomination of Dominik Belloin to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, as of May 19, 1998. He succeeds Dan Arendt, who has been elected Executive Vice President General Affairs and General Manager of the Group's Luxembourg activities.
Dominik Belloin, 37, has a business degree from ESSEC in France and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He started his career at Goldman, Sachs and Co. in New York and London, first as an associate then as an Executive Director in the Investment division. In 1993, he joined the Bertelsmann Group in Germany as assistant to the Chairman of the book division. In 1994, he joined the French book club company France Loisirs, a joint subsidiary of Havas and Bertelsmann, as head of the mail-order business. Soon after, he was appointed Director of Human Resources. Then he became a member of the Executive Committee in charge of Marketing Services, before becoming Chief Financial Officer of France Loisirs and Média Communication, Bertelsmann's French holding company.
Dominik Belloin is married and has two children.
